ABOUT THIS BLOCK
This block is part of the XPotential University’s Exponential Futures Curriculum and it is free for XPotential Community members.
In this block students will be introduced to the concept of Future Forecasting and the different techniques Futurists use to envision and forecast the Future and Deep Future. While noone can perfectly predict the future there are nevertheless a wide range of different techniques we can use to envision and predict probable futures. These are what we will be exploring in this block.
BLOCK OUTCOMES
More specifically this block will provide students with:
- An introduction to the concept of Future Forecasting
- An introduction to the concept of Fuzzy Futures
- An introduction to the different data sources futurists use to develop their predictions
- An introduction to the different factors that influence the future and the rate of change
- An introduction to the methodologies and tools futurists use to predict the future
- First hand experience of predicting the future and deep future
- Insights into the workings of a futurists mind
