What is the 311 Titans Index?
The 311 Titans Index ranks the world's 3,462 largest companies by annual revenue, with banks and insurers in a separate ranking, using each company's latest reported figures. It is compiled by the 311 Institute and updated as new annual results are filed.
Where do the figures come from?
US-listed companies' figures come directly from their filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Other companies' figures are company-reported revenue recorded in Wikidata, the open knowledge base. Figures in other currencies are converted to US dollars at 2024 average exchange rates. Each company's source and year are shown.
Which company has the highest revenue?
Amazon tops the 311 Titans Index with revenue of about $717bn.
Is this the same as the Fortune 500 or Global 500?
No. The 311 Titans Index is an independent ranking built by the 311 Institute from public filings and open data, using its own published method.
Why is a company missing?
Coverage is strongest for companies that file with the US SEC and for companies with an open public record. The 311 Institute is adding official annual-report data from other markets in each update.

How the 311 Titans Index is built
Coverage is strongest for companies that file with the US SEC. Official annual-report data from Europe, Japan, China, India and other markets is being added in each update.
