As if the web wasn’t already getting swamped with enough crappy AI generated content Microsoft owned professional networking platform LinkedIn has unveiled a new AI powered feature that lets the platforms users use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to auto-generate posts for their followers. The new feature lets them create a multi-page AI-generated posts by typing in nothing more than a concise 30 word prompt, saving time and effort in crafting content.

“When it comes to posting on LinkedIn, we’ve heard that you generally know what you want to say, but going from a great idea to a full fledged post can be challenging and time consuming. So, we’re starting to test a way for members to use generative AI directly within the LinkedIn share box,” noted Keren Baruch, chief product officer of LinkedIn, with a post on the platform.

Entering an outline of the desired post in the designated section fetches users an initial draft, which users can review, edit, and enhance before hitting the “post” button.

LinkedIn says that this feature will be tested initially before being rolled out to all users.
