Chalice Or and the CEO of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) invited Matthew to give the main stage keynote at the annual Hong Kong Technology Expo, one of the world's largest celebrations of new technology. Held at the Hong Kong Convention Centre on Victoria Harbour, the expo drew more than 400,000 attendees and over 1,000 exhibitors across three days, with audiences from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland.
In line with the expo's theme, his keynote was titled The Future of Connected Living. He opened with how the world is changing: the technologies and global trends shaping the future, and the impact they are having now and will have on business, culture and society.

He then turned to the disruptive business models these technologies enable, including how a single smart fridge could disrupt Asian banking and retail, the power of visionary leadership, and what connected living will look like.
He closed with a run through the latest emerging technologies, each one a challenge to industry incumbents and entrenched thinking: crypto mining cars, tax free Web 3.0 enabled living, the future of health and wellbeing, and cars, clothes and computer chips designed by AI.
